Micro Matic, a Danish industrial group specialized in the development and manufacturing of beverage dispensing equipment and solutions, has entered into an agreement with Aalberts N.V. to acquire Disptek Group, a renowned and reputable group of companies active in beverage dispense equipment technology. Disptek Group consists of Taprite (US), DSI (DE), Vin Service (IT), and Disptek UK (UK), and is specialized in the development and production of spears, keg couplers, pressure regulators, bar guns, towers, and dispensers. Disptek Group and its 275 employees serve thousands of customers in more than 65 countries. The agreement between Micro Matic and Aalberts N.V. has been signed and the transaction is expected to be finalized on the 31st of August.

Micro Matic is an international industrial group based in Odense, Denmark, with a total revenue of around EUR 270 million, more than 1.000 employees and activities in more than 120 countries. Founded in 1953, the company’s shareholders are two families who have an evergreen strategy dedicated to creating value over time by nourishing a culture of customers first, openness and trustworthiness, and delivering uncompromising quality.

The acquisition is in line with Micro Matic’s strategic ambitions of expanding its operations on a global scale. Micro Matic aims to accelerate the growth of the new organization by working closely with current management and staff to optimize synergy potential with local Micro Matic offices.

“We are excited about this opportunity to welcome Disptek Group and new colleagues to our organization and family. While already having multiple operations around the globe, this acquisition allows us to strengthen our position and deliver even better products and services to our customers globally. We are equally pleased to make this happen by entering into an agreement with a company we have come to know as a well-run and professional organization with a solid and advanced portfolio. We strive to be the leading provider of innovative, high quality dispense solutions, and this is an important step in meeting our ambition,” says Anders Nørgaard, Group CFO and interim CEO of Micro Matic.

  • "Livingstone won the buy-side mandate by demonstrating a deep market insight and understanding of both our situation and the competitive landscape. Despite not knowing the team beforehand we were not disappointed. Throughout the process we have felt supported, understood and always like a priority, both in the early mornings and late nights. From the beginning Livingstone activated their global network, which was a support in our understanding of the situation and a help in deciding on deal-tactics. During the process they took the right amount of charge to relieve and guide us through the process without us feeling left behind or on the side. All in all we had a great process with a successful outcome."
