On this occasion, we celebrate key promotions in Spain and Italy, and welcome a new Analyst in Sweden, reinforcing our strategy of organic growth and operational excellence.

Promotions in Italy

Emily Favaretto – Associate Director at Livingstone Italy (effective January 1, 2025)
Emily joined Livingstone in 2018 and has since developed a strong execution capability, especially in sell‑side mandates for family‑owned businesses, with a particular focus on the waste management and related equipment sector. She has led cross‑border sale processes, managing international teams and contributing to the growth of a rapidly expanding vertical. Her discipline, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail make her a highly trusted advisor.

Mauro Maria Iaccino – Associate Director at Livingstone Italy (effective January 1, 2025)
With six years at KT&Partners before joining Livingstone in 2023, Mauro has worked on numerous buy-side and sell-side transactions, with a strong inclination towards the Tech sectors. Mauro is highly regarded by clients for his advanced technical skills, his confidence in managing deals in a structured and orderly manner, and his pragmatic yet diplomatic approach. Since joining Livingstone, he has actively shared his methodical and structured mindset with the team, contributing to the enhancement of our best practices and quickly becoming a key point of reference for complex technical matters.

Alessio Motta – Associate at Livingstone Italy (effective January 1, 2025)
Having joined in 2022 from the real estate sector, Alessio has worked on M&A transactions both for entrepreneurs and financial investors. Alessio has demonstrated a strong ability to quickly understand the dynamics of different businesses and effectively engage with stakeholders across various industries. His career path at Livingstone is mainly focused on expanding the firm’s Business Development and Sponsor Coverage activities in Italy.

Lorenzo Francini – Senior Analyst at Livingstone Italy (effective January 1, 2025)
After gaining experience as a junior banker at Mediobanca, Lorenzo returned to Livingstone in 2023 and has since excelled in technical analysis, financial modeling, and executive presentations. His contribution to deal execution remains invaluable, driven by his tireless commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence. He has also shown an excellent aptitude for mentoring newcomers, sharing his structured approach and contributing to the development of the next generation of Analysts.

Promotions in Spain

Andrés E. Izquierdo – Associate at Livingstone Spain (effective April 1, 2025)
Andres joined Livingstone as an Analyst in January 2024. Prior to joining Livingstone, Andrés worked at Deloitte Financial Advisory, where he participated in corporate transactions and financial restructuring processes of companies in the agricultural, logistics and industrial sectors.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Valencia and a Master in Corporate Finance from EDEM Business School. His stays at UC Berkeley and Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz allowed him to deepen his knowledge of advanced valuation techniques and financial modeling. Andrés is a CFA Charterholder. Since joining Livingstone, Andrés has demonstrated a solid financial knowledge, his ability to apply it effectively in projects and to provide creative solutions to the challenges that arise.

Toni Zhu – Senior Analyst at Livingstone Spain (effective April 1, 2025)
Toni joined the company in September 2023 after graduating in Business Administration & Economics from Dominican University (New York) and pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance at EDEM. With internships in several companies, he acquired a comprehensive vision of manufacturing and distribution processes in consumer goods. At Livingstone, he was involved in the sale of Tecalum, S.L. to Workerbee Capital. He stands out for his attention to detail and his perfectionist approach, always taking care of the quality of his work without losing sight of collaboration and team spirit.

New Addition in Sweden

August Carlsson – Analyst
Following a six-month internship in our Stockholm office – during which he became a valued member of the team and contributed to several ongoing transaction processes – August now officially joins us as an Analyst.
He holds a degree in Economics and Statistics from Stockholm University and is completing a Master’s in Finance and Investments at Copenhagen Business School. August has distinguished himself through his strong analytical mindset and rapid learning ability.
With diverse experience from the quantitative hedge fund QQM Equity Hedge and the investment advisory division at UBS in Luxembourg, he further strengthens our analytical capabilities in the Nordic region.
