Livingstone’s Healthcare team is pleased to announce that its client, Dispensing Solutions, Inc. has been sold to PSS World Medical, Inc, a national distributor of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Livingstone served as exclusive financial advisor to DSI and HealthEdge Investment Partners, majority owner of the Company.  DSI is a leading provider of turn-key medication dispensing programs to physicians and facility-based healthcare providers that fill prescriptions at the point of care (“POC”).

“Our executive team is eager to combine PSS’s extensive sales network and support infrastructure with DSI’s high quality dispensing offering and begin the Company’s next growth phase,” said DSI Chief Executive Officer Guy Bryant.

The DSI sale to PSS represents the second healthcare transaction closed by Livingstone in 2011, and another in a long line of recent deals completed with global strategic acquirers such as ARAMARK, Hertz, Kohler, Mattel, ModusLink, and Priceline.com.
