Maximilian Bergold

Maximilian joined Livingstone’s Frankfurt office as Associate Partner in March 2025.

Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience advising strategic acquirers and private equity firms on both sell-side and buy-side transactions, including public takeovers and defense mandates. During these projects, he developed a particular focus on companies in the Media & Technology sectors, including IT Services and Cyber Security.

Prior to joining Livingstone, Maximilian started his career in the Investment Banking/ M&A department of the German private bank Berenberg and gained further M&A experience at companies such as EY and Santander Corporate & Investment Banking.

Maximilian is a qualified banker (IHK) and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, where he also completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. He also gained international experience during his studies at Stellenbosch University.
