“After 25 years of entrepreneurship, I was looking for a succession plan for my company which would secure continued business operations after a transition period. The Livingstone team identified a buyer with a practically identical sense of market definition, strategic rationale and future development prospects, within a very short time frame”, said Norbert Nowak, Managing Director of Nowak. “I would like to thank Livingstone for finding us a succession solution and managing and implementing the entire sale process.”
Hubertus Knaier, Managing Partner of Hurth MT added: “The Nowak business complements the industrial wastewater and air purification activities in HMT Cleanwater Beteiligungs-GmbH perfectly. We see excellent synergies and the future development of our investments in this segment.”
“In our experience, viable succession solutions for owner-managed companies are most successful when the corporate culture, market focus and, above all, mentality of the old and new shareholders are aligned. In HMT Cleanwater, and its investors Hurth MT, we are pleased to have identified a buyer not only displaying the necessary strategic rationale, but also the right chemistry at a personal level,” added Dr. André Schröer, Director at Livingstone Düsseldorf.
