Livingstone has acted as advisor to NCC AB (publ) on the acquisition of the Norwegian contruction company, OKK Entreprenør AS (“OKK”). The acquisition clearly shows the importance of choosing an advisor with global reach for clients with international growth strategies, says Thomas Karlsson, Managing Partner at Livingstone.

NCC Construction in Norway has entered into an agreement to acquire the Norwegian construction company OKK. OKK’s core business is the production of residential and commercial properties. OKK operates primarily in the Oslo and Drammen regions. OKK has revenues of approximately SEK 1bn and about 350 employees. The acquisition of OKK is in line with NCC’s growth strategy.

The acquisition of OKK gives NCC an improved geographic presence and forms the base for future growth in areas with high population growth. In addition, the acquisition complements NCC’s current competence within construction of residential buildings, renovations and construction services.

Completion of the acquisition is subject to approval from the Norwegian Competition Authority and other customary conditions.
