Livingstone advises Vitronet on the acquisition of DIROBA GmbH & Co. KG

Livingstone has advised vitronet Holding GmbH, a portfolio company of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), on the acquisition of DIROBA GmbH & Co. KG, a general contractor and drilling specialist for underground cable and pipeline construction. Terms of the transaction are undisclosed.

The company is strengthening its geographical coverage in the Thuringia and Rhineland region as a service provider in telecommunications and fiber optic expansion. Founded in 2016 and managed by André Dittrich, the company based in Großvargula (Thuringia) is a valuable partner in infrastructure expansion.

DIROBA GmbH & Co. KG is a cable and pipeline civil engineering leader in controlled horizontal drilling, civil engineering work, cable pulling, laying, and assembly. The company can offer the entire pipeline construction trenchless construction from a single source and act as a general contractor in fiber optic expansion. Clients are primarily large clients from the telecommunications sector (e.g., Telekom or Vodafone) and municipalities and energy suppliers. With the takeover, the vitronet group strengthened and optimized its existing service portfolio along the value chain and is now one of the most important industry players in nationwide infrastructure expansion.
