Livingstone is pleased to announce the sale of Demcom to environmental services provider Delete, which now becomes the largest Nordic provider in demolition and industrial sanitation.

Delete Group acquires the demolition and sanitation companies Demcom Demolition AB and Demcom Machine AB. Demcom is based in Örebro, has around fifty employees and a turnover of SEK 170 million (USD 20m). The company specializes in technically advanced demolition projects and are a leading provider of heavy demolition services on the Swedish market.

The acquisition makes Delete Group the largest player on the Nordic market for demolition and industrial sanitation, with 800 employees and a combined turnover of SEK 1.3 billion (USD 150m) in 2015.

“Livingstone has worked closely with Demcom for a long of time and continuously provided advice in operations related issues and regarding ownership. We’re very pleased to now have advised Demcom in finding a new owner, thus creating a new leading provider on the Nordic demolition market,” says Francesco Di Folco, Director at Livingstone.

“The way I see it, there’s now no limit to what we can do in demolition and sanitation, not in Sweden or Finland, and not in Europe,” says Kim Dahl, CEO at Demcom, and concludes that the merger with Delete presents possibilities that Demcom had not been able to create on its own.

“This is an important acquisition that makes us the market leader in demolition in Sweden, a position that we already hold in Finland. We now have the resources to bring our demolition services into the rest of Europe,” says Jussi Niemelä, Group CEO at Delete Group.
