Position Summary
Livingstone is seeking a highly capable and driven Investment Banking Associate to join our Chicago office. This is a near-term hiring need, and the ideal candidate will be available to join the team promptly. The Associate will take a lead role in transaction execution, manage Analysts, and contribute directly to client communications and deliverables. This position offers significant responsibility, exposure to senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to work on high-impact domestic and international transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution workstreams on M&A, special situations, and financing transactions
• Oversee and review financial models and valuation analyses prepared by Analysts
• Draft and manage client deliverables including confidential information presentations (CIPs), management presentations, and pitch materials
• Conduct and synthesize company, industry, and buyer/investor research
• Coordinate and participate in due diligence, process management, and data room activities
• Support negotiations, deal structuring, and preparation of key transaction documentation and analyses
• Participate in client meetings and directly manage select client and counterparty communications
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Analyst team members

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to clients and managing deliverables
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines
• Self-starter with strong professional maturity and desire to grow within an entrepreneurial environment
• Availability to begin in the near term is preferred
