Livingstone named UK Corporate Finance Advisor of the Year for the fourth time in ten years.
Livingstone was recognized last week as the UK Corporate Finance Advisor of the Year at the 2015 Private Equity Awards held in London. This is the fourth time Livingstone has received this award in the past ten years, having also won in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
Jeremy Furniss, Partner at Livingstone in London, credited the accolade to the firm’s commitment to delivering against three core areas of differentiation. “In every transaction we focus on providing deep expertise in fast-moving, technical markets, unrelenting advocacy for our client’s businesses, and productive principal-to-principal dialogues instead of bludgeoning counterparties aggressive deadlines and hollow threats. We think this is a breath of fresh air in a market obsessed with process, process, process.”
David Sulaski, Partner at Livingstone in Chicago, said, “We are honored to have received this award again. We have a fantastic team in the UK and they continue to set themselves apart from the competition. Over the last eight years, we have worked hard to build a world-class, international firm and solidify our reputation as the leading advisor in complex, cross-border transactions. We don’t actively seek these kinds of awards, but it’s always nice to be recognized.”
Over the last ten years, even with the global financial crisis, the firm has seen sustained growth in both its team and transaction volume. Livingstone’s global staff has grown from 34 in 2007 to over 80 today. In 2014, the firm completed 48 transactions across six international offices.
