Livingstone has advised The Up Group Ltd, Europe’s leading digital executive search and networking business, on investment from mid-market private equity firm Livingbridge.
Founded in 2007 by entrepreneur Clare Johnston, The Up Group has become the trusted digital advisor to boardrooms across Europe. Well known for its deep relationship with executives, entrepreneurs and investors across the digital economy, The Up Group has built outstanding leadership teams, across the C-suite, for some of the world’s most celebrated companies. The firm’s international roster of clients include VC-backed stars (such as Skyscanner, Klarna and Airbnb); PE-owned growth stories (Photobox, Graze, Trainline); tech giants (Google Deepmind, JUST EAT, TripAdvisor); and corporates going through digital transformation (Aviva, HomeServe, Guardian Media Group).
With demand for its services expected to grow substantially, The Up Group is planning to enhance its delivery capacity, as well as expand its international footprint. It will also accelerate its renowned Digital Masters programme, which brings together industry leaders throughout the year at a variety of exclusive events.
Clare Johnston, Founder and co-CEO at The Up Group, said: “We are delighted to be starting the next chapter of The Up Group story with Livingbridge. The support of a seasoned investor will allow us to continue to provide our clients with the people they need to change the world.
