With the referendum looming, reports have questioned whether senior decision makers within the Packaging sector have made plans for an exit from the EU.
“There is no doubt that uncertainty regarding the process, timing and impact of Brexit makes it difficult for businesses to undertake detailed planning, but that does not mean it can be ignored. Brexit is already generating volatility in foreign exchange markets and it’s only going to get worse over the next few weeks. It is worth investing time to assess exposure to foreign exchange risk, from customers, suppliers and funding providers as well as employees, regulation and supply chain.
