Brian performs analysis, modeling, and research across the corporate finance transactions of the firm. Prior to joining Livingstone, he completed internships in real estate private equity and in General Electric’s Financial Management Program.

Education: BA, Northwestern University

Prior to joining Livingstone, Ryan worked for two years as an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. in Chicago. He provided M&A, capital raise, financial restructuring, and strategic advisory services in a variety of sectors, including consumer products, food and beverage, manufacturing, metals, healthcare services, business services, and electrical products. Prior to BGL, Ryan worked as an analyst in the special situations group of Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services in Chicago.

Karl brings six years of corporate finance, distressed M&A and restructuring experience to Livingstone, including both debtor and creditor representation. Prior to joining the firm, Karl worked as a Corporate Restructuring Vice President at Mesirow Financial Consulting and Corporate Recovery Senior Associate at KPMG.

Education: BBA, Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan

David brings to Livingstone twelve years of investment banking, consulting, research and corporate development experience, primarily in the media:tech and telecom sectors. Prior to joining Livingstone, David worked as a Principal for RCBG, an M&A advisory firm, where he advised global technology, media, and telecom companies and Private Equity Groups on strategic acquisitions and divestitures. Previously, he held corporate and business development roles at Motorola, Level 3 Communications, and Airvana.

Dan is a financial and research analyst at Livingstone. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was an analyst at Headwaters MB, a Denver-based investment banking advisory firm. There, he provided M&A and capital raise services in a variety of sectors, including consumer products and business services. Dan previously worked at UBS Investment Bank and Mesirow Financial.

Education: BA, Northwestern University

Steve leads Livingstone’s Industrial practice, and is also active in the Infrastructure and Environmental Services Sectors. He has 15 years of experience advising middle market companies on M&A transactions, financial restructurings, and debt and equity raises. Before co-founding Livingstone USA, Steve held the position of Managing Director at both Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and Goldsmith Agio Helms & Co. Early in his career, Steve honed his experience working with middle market companies in a variety of capacities including leveraged finance at Bank of America, full service capital markets at Morgan Keegan, and principal activities at Harbour Group and Foundation Partners.

Tom heads Livingstone’s Debt Capital Markets practice. He brings over nine years of middle market commercial finance experience to the firm. He was previously employed by Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase.

Education: BS, DePaul University MBA, University of Chicago (2010)

Connor joins Livingstone as a financial and research analyst from Billow Butler & Company, where he supported M&A and capital raising services in a variety of sectors, including consumer products and technology. He previously worked at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group.

BS, Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University.

Jim leads Livingstone’s Healthcare practice. He has over a decade of experience working with entrepreneurial and large companies on financial and strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, debt issuances, financial statement audits, and consulting engagements. Most recently, Jim served as Director at Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market) and was an investment banking associate with Lehman Brothers. He began his career at Arthur Andersen.

David leads Livingstone’s Private Equity practice and directs client engagements, specializing in the Consumer sector. With nearly ten years experience in investment banking, he has extensive cross-border and financial buyer expertise. Prior to co-founding Livingstone USA, he was a Managing Director at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and spent four years at William Blair & Company. Previously, he was General Counsel to the Illinois Development Finance Authority and an advisor to Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.
