Andy, who joined the firm in 2010, brings seven years of financial advisory experience to Livingstone, including M&A, financial restructuring and accounting. A CPA, he was previously a Tax Manager at KPMG where he spent over five years advising private equity firms, corporations, and other entities on tax issues related to U.S. and international equity and debt investments.

Ryan joined Livingstone at its inception in 2007. He brings over five years of M&A, capital raising, and financial restructuring experience across a variety of sectors including consumer, healthcare, and industrial. Prior to Livingstone, Ryan worked for two years as an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. in Chicago and in the workout group of Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.

Mark is a research and financial analyst at Livingstone. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he completed a private equity and real estate focused internship, where he supported the M&A team in performing due diligence activities for potential commercial real estate acquisitions.

Education: BS, DePaul University

Karl, who joined the firm in 2007, brings eight years of corporate finance, distressed M&A and restructuring experience to Livingstone, including both debtor and creditor representation. Prior to joining the firm, Karl worked as a Corporate Restructuring Vice President at Mesirow Financial Consulting and Corporate Recovery Senior Associate at KPMG.

Will joined Livingstone in 2011 as an Analyst, responsible for research, modeling and financial analysis. Prior to joining the firm, Will completed serveral research internships with the U.S. Congress, the Heartland Institute and the Yale Department of Political Science.

BS, Yale University

Joe leads Livingstone’s Special Situations practice. He brings over twelve years of restructuring, distressed M&A, and financial advisory experience to the firm. Joe has advised public and private companies both in and outside chapter 11, as well as DIP lenders, creditors’ committees, and private equity sponsors. He joined from William Blair, where he was one of three founding members of that firm’s Restructuring Group. Joe previously served as Vice President at Mesirow Financial Consulting. Joe is a CPA and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.

Andy leads Livingstone’s Industrials practice. He has 17 years experience advising middle market companies across a broad sector spectrum on M&A transactions, capital raises, and valuation related matters. Prior to joining Livingstone, Andy was Principal & Managing Director and led the Midwest Region at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he completed more than two dozen transactions. Andy began his career as a financial analyst with NCR, then completed GE’s FMP program.

Patrick joined Livingstone in 2011 as an Associate, supporting the firm’s M&A and capital raising activities across multiple sectors. He most recently was an associate at Lakeshore Food Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm. Patrick previously earned four years of professional experience in strategy consulting and insurance underwriting.

Tom joined Livingstone in 2011 as Vice President specializing in Debt Capital Markets. He brings nearly ten years of commercial finance and middle market expertise to the firm. Tom most recently was a Vice President of Commercial Banking for BMO Harris Bank and Bank of America/LaSalle Bank. He began his career at GE, working in its Corporate Financial Services and Fleet Services divisions.

Steve leads Livingstone’s Industrial and Environmental practices. He has 15 years of experience advising middle market companies on M&A transactions, financial restructurings, and debt and equity raises. Before co-founding Livingstone USA, Steve was a Managing Director at both Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and Goldsmith Agio Helms & Co. (Lazard Middle Market). He previously worked with middle market companies in a variety of advisory capacities at Bank of America and Morgan Keegan, and via principal activities at Harbour Group and Foundation Partners.

Jim heads Livingstone’s Healthcare practice. He has over a decade of experience working with entrepreneurial and large companies on financial and strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, debt issuances, financial statement audits, and consulting engagements. Most recently, Jim served as Director at Goldsmith Agio Helms (Lazard Middle Market) and as an associate with Lehman Brothers. He began his career at Arthur Andersen.

Ryan joined Livingstone in 2010 as a research and financial analyst. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was a data analyst at Morningstar, where he completed a Management Development Program and worked on the company’s global equity database. He previously completed internships at Coastal Community Capital and Merrill Lynch.

David leads Livingstone’s Private Equity practice and directs client engagements, specializing in the Consumer sector. With ten years experience in investment banking, he has extensive cross-border and financial buyer expertise. Prior to co-founding Livingstone USA, he was a Managing Director at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and spent four years at William Blair & Co. Previously, he was General Counsel to the Illinois Development Finance Authority and an advisor to Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.
