Livingstone Turns Up the Heat in the Gas Installation Industry

Livingstone Madrid has advised Europea del Gas, S.A. (EGSA) in its sale to Grupo Arredondo. The deal was concluded in August 2007.
EGSA is a services company dedicated to the installation of gas systems for industry and residential homes. After many years of success, majority owner Fabio Huescar decided it was time to retire and, with no family succesors in the business, turned to Livingstone Partners’ Business Servies Team to help identify an ideal buyer for the company.
Ramiro Marques, Director at Livingstone, led the process and negotiated the sale of the business to Grupo Arredondo, a diversified industrial group that had been developing a construction services division.
Ramiro commented: “Like many of our deals, it was imperative to identify a buyer that recognised Europea’s skills and market knowledge, thus ensuring a good price, but also an assurance of further development for Europea and its employees. Both factors were crucial to the seller”.
