Livingstone hires new Managing Director
September 2008
Livingstone is pleased to announce the addition of James Moskal to the firm’s growing Chicago team. James brings twelve years of professional experience and a robust deal resume to the firm.He is joining Livingstone as a Managing Director from Lazard Middle Market (formerly Goldsmith Agio Helms), where he spent nearly six years principally focused on the Healthcare sector but also led multiple Industrial, Agribusiness, and Business Services transactions. Prior to Lazard, James worked as an investment banking associate in the Industrial Group at Lehman Brothers.
Moskal earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. A Certified Public Accountant, Moskal began his professional career at Arthur Andersen.
“I am excited to join the Livingstone team and to specialize primarily on Healthcare,” said James. “The healthcare sector continues to expand rapidly, and there is unmet demand for expert middle-market M&A advisors, particularly those with trans-Atlantic capabilities.”
James will augment the firm’s banking teams in Chicago, London and Madrid, and build upon its recent successes in Healthcare. Livingstone has closed four Healthcare transactions already in 2008.
“We are pleased to add another veteran investment banker to our fast-growing team,” said partner Stephen Miles. “I have worked with Jim for many years and know that he will serve our clients with the exacting standard of excellence we set for ourselves.”
