Livingstone Continues Growth of Chicago Investment Banking Team

Livingstone Partners announced the addition of two more professionals to the firm’s expanding Chicago team.
Scott Hasley joins Livingstone as a Managing Director. He will head the firm’s Specialty Chemicals and Janitorial/Sanitary Supply (“Jan/San”) practices. Leveraging his ten years of middle market corporate finance experience, Hasley will also continue to lead transactions for general industrial and consumer products and services companies. He was most recently a Principal at Piper Jaffray, where he led its Jan/San and Packaging team efforts. He was previously a Director at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company, where he managed transactions across myriad sectors and worked closely for several years with Livingstone’s two founders, Steve Miles and David Sulaski, along with the firm’s partners in Europe.
“I am pleased to rejoin my former colleagues and to be part of such a strong international platform,” said Hasley. “Livingstone’s unique industry sector model is what today’s sophisticated middle market clients demand, and I look forward to building two more core areas of global expertise for the firm.”
Hasley began his career in the Leveraged Finance Group of LaSalle Bank, N.A. He earned his B.S. from the M.J. Neely School of Business at Texas Christian University.

Livingstone also welcomes Karl Freimuth to the investment banking team. Most recently a Corporate Restructuring Vice President at Mesirow Financial Consulting, Freimuth brings nearly five years of restructuring and middle market transaction experience to the firm. He is a graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
“Beyond his general corporate finance acumen, Karl brings important additional restructuring expertise to Livingstone, a focal area for our firm’s expansion plans in the coming year,” added Miles.
