Livingstone adds a seat at the table

Livingstone has announced the appointment of Gene McCaffery as its Consumer Industry Advisor, focused principally on the restaurant and retail sectors. Throughout his professional career, Gene has held senior executive positions with leading private and publicly-traded companies in the industry and has served on the boards of countless civic and not-for-profit organizations.He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Gibson Restaurant Group, which owns and/or operates Gibson’s Steakhouse, Hugo’s Frog Bar, Quartino, and the Ralph Lauren (RL) restaurants.
Gene recently served as Executive Chairman and CEO of Value Vision Media (NASDAQ:VVTV), which owns and operates the nation’s fastest growing shopping network, ShopNBC. He also served on the Board of Ralph Lauren Media during the development of POLO.com. Previously, McCaffery spent 14 years at Montgomery Ward, a $7 billion retail chain, ultimately rising to the company’s #2 position, Senior Executive Vice President.
